Diseases and/or pests
Strawflower is generally hardy and not very susceptible to disease. However, excessive moisture can encourage the development of gray mold (Botrytis). To prevent this, space plants well, ensure good ventilation, and water spacing. In the event of an attack, remove the affected parts and treat preventively with a suitable fungicide.
Trick
To obtain quality dried bouquets , cut the flowers just before they are in full bloom and hang them upside down in a dark, dry place. This will help them retain their vibrancy and texture, ideal for floral arrangements.
